Website Activity

The MoPhoto website complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 in relation to all processing of personal data supplied to us by users and other personal data in our possession for any reason. It is the policy of MoPhoto to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of any personal information, such as your name, address, email address, or telephone number that you provide to us. By using this site, you consent to the terms of this website privacy policy. We do not collect, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose other than those identified below, except with your consent or as required by law.

Each time you visit our website www.mophoto.co.uk the web server collects and logs certain information. We keep these access logs for a reasonable period of time. These logs include, but are not restricted to: your computer’s TCP/IP address, your username (if applicable), date, time and files accessed. These logs also contain information about referrer information if you clicked on an external link in order to access a webpage. We use these logs solely for performance, site administration and security reviews. We do not sell or share this information with any third party.

We collect only personal information about you, such as your name, address, email address, or telephone number that you voluntarily provided to us. For example, we may receive personal information about you when you send us an email through our website or sign up for newsletters or event reminders. This information will be sent internally in order to handle your request or respond to your enquiry.

We do not sell any personal information we receive through our website to any third party, nor will we add such information to any bulk email list we may prepare.

Online Shop

Our online store is powered through a combination of WooCommerce (Shop), Booked (Booking process) and Square (Payments) and during your visit the following information captured.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
  • We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store

Contact Forms

When using our contact form we collect the following information which is directly provided by the user, their name, email address, the message and sometimes we may ask for your phone number. The information provided is only used to reply or for direct contact with the user. This information is never passed on to any third-party services or sold.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS (Google Inc.)
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilises the Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the Data collected to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network.

SQUARE
We accept payments through Square. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Square, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

What are your rights?

If you have an account on this site, or made any purchases, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
